Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Alira Stays, we believe your travel experience should be joyful — not stressful. While plans can shift and life can surprise you, we’re here to support you through the unexpected. Our cancellation and refund policy is built with structure, but led by empathy.

Cancellation Timelines

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before check-in:
     Eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in:
    May be eligible for a partial refund, depending on proximity to check-in and occupancy loss.
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows:
    Typically non-refundable, as the villa is reserved exclusively for you. However, we always aim to be understanding in cases of genuine emergencies.

Date Rescheduling

  • We’re happy to help you reschedule your stay, subject to availability may or maynot be chargeable.
  • Please inform us a few days in advance so we can ensure a smooth transition.
  • No rescheduling fee is charged unless explicitly stated at booking.

Refund Process

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days.
  • If you experience delays, our team is always available to check in and assist.

Partner Property Policies

  • Some of our villas are hosted in collaboration with trusted property owners.
    In such cases, specific cancellation terms may vary.
  • These details are clearly shared during booking, so you’re never caught off-guard.

At Alira Stays, we believe travel should be joyful, not stressful and that includes the parts you don’t plan for. We understand that things can come up, plans may shift and sometimes, life has its own timing. While we do have a structure in place for cancellations and refunds, our approach is always led by empathy, not fine print.
If you need to cancel your stay,
You should let us know as early as possible. In most cases, cancellations made a week before check-in are eligible for a full refund.
For those made closer to the check-in date, a partial refund may apply.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows typically aren’t refundable, as the space is reserved exclusively for you but we always try to be understanding if there are genuine reasons beyond your control.
We’re also happy to help with rescheduling. If your dates change, and the property is available, we’ll do our best to move your reservation ideally, just let us know a few days in advance so we can make it seamless for you.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 7 to 10 working days. If it takes longer, we’re just a message away and happy to check in on the status for you.
Some of our spaces are hosted in partnership with trusted property owners, and their cancellation terms may vary slightly. We make sure those details are clearly communicated at the time of booking, so there are no surprises.
